Traditional Blacksmithing Apprenticeships
Our Traditional Apprenticeships are more than just training—they are our way of preserving the art of blacksmithing and giving back to the communities we serve. This rigorous, four-year program follows the time-honored methods of master-apprentice training, demanding dedication, discipline, and a passion for the craft.

The Guild-Apprentice Relationship

Our apprenticeship system mirrors the old-world traditions, where a shop cannot function without its apprentices, and apprentices cannot master the craft without the shop. To uphold this commitment:
-
Breaking the contract without cause results in a substantial financial stipend, ensuring the Guild can fill the vacant position
-
At the end of four years, apprentices take the Journeyworker’s Exam, with multiple attempts allowed to pass
